Blah. Been busy looking for another roommate, as the current one decided to suddenly move out two months earlier than she said she would. So far I've only interviewed one person, and had three other people skip out on their scheduled walkthrough. :P

Still no work on creative stuff, besides the Kin website for LOTRO which is coming along very nicely with lots of cool advanced features and behind the scenes stuff. Hoping to wrap up most of it by the end of the month so that I can concentrate on other projects.

Other than that, been reading one of my many creative writing guide books to help improve my knowledge and hopefully skill

Lugging my computer and stuff up North this weekend, s im going to stay with some friends and have a LAN Party :D

Cue 202 mile road trip

Starting with a 174 mile drive first stint (over 3 hours), to get to where we are meeting and having dinner.

So plenty to do today, got to pop down Tescoes for beer and other supplies, fill my car up with more petrol than its ever used to, and find all those bloody game/dvd discs that love to go missing :P

I just got back last night from a trip to Las Vegas! I really suck at gambling. And I was so gonna buy us all Ferraris if I won big. I already miss the sunshine! It's all rainy here, and they say it's gonna be cold and gray all summer. Nuuuuuuu :P

I had a stroke of luck in finding a former coworker to be my new roomie! She's moving in at the end of this month. It'll be awesome, because she sews costumes in her spare time, too!

Well Among my other I'm wasting schemes, I've finally donloaded my copy of The Last Remnant that i bought on a christnmas sale on Steam, and started playing that. Kinda sends you off with no explanation at times (where do i go? what do i do?) but is still fun none the less. The turn based battle system is interesting. As the game progresses, you can have 5 squads with up to 5 people each, which attack/heal together. which is pretty awesome, complete with your standard "heroes" among them, and buyable soldiers.

I think LZ would have a field day with drawing fan art for the four races in the game (if you can google them - Mitra (Human), Qsiti (Lizard Bunnies for lack of a better description), Yama (big strong lizard guys, like the ones in most FF games...) and Sovani (four armed cat like humanoids)

Anyway, how you guys all doing?

My life is pretty busy, so still havent got around to doing creative stuff.

Been cutting down on the general LOTRO hours, as I'm kind of hitting overload with taht atm. Mainly because I'm now one of the raid leaders in our little alliance and that poops me out a lot. Especially since it's now 7-days a week instead of 3.

In other gaming news, I still havent completed The Last Remnant. I have also bought Aliens Vs. Predator which i have to say is epic. The marine campaign totally starts shit-scary, as shit is going down on the colony, you are alone, and your motion sensor keeps beeping (just like in aliens). In fact, the entire Marine campaign PERFECTLY captures the feel of the ALiens film, without being unoriginal. Even the music sounds like its from the movie, as you run the fuck away from the hive.

Alien campaign felt a little short in comparison. Then again, maybe this is because I wasn't hiding in the corners half the time. Holding down civilians and watching their facial expressions just before they get face raped is almost as funny as the finishing moves you can do.

Predator campaign is also quite fun, as you are an unstoppable (and thankfully acid-resistant) melee machine. Still have yet to finish that, though I suspect It will involve a showdown with the Predalien.

Also bought Football Manager for a bit of simulation, and Dragon Age: Origins which I have yet to get into properly.
